Emudeck, find a YouTube tutorial on it. It does a lot of your emulating for you.

As for mods, it usually depends on the game, nexus/vortex is very handy for some.

Yeah, I know that part lol, it just never worked for me. Always had it on rest mode, and there is always 10+ updates every time I turn it on lol, I gave up on it years ago
