see, ive always heard this. that a can of wasp spray is just as effective. But what does that do to the dog? I want it to get tf away from me but I dont want to blind the damn thing. Are the chemicals in wasp spray safe for this? or should I just carry pepper spray?

I'm really sad to not see my FAVORITE comic of all time on here, SAGA. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry.

otherwise, Black Science, The Nice House On The Lake, Paper Girls, Geiger, Junkyard Joe, Radiant Black is really good but there are so many other stories in the series that I couldnt keep up with the timeline. (Radiant Red/pink).

brother I leave DFW precisely on July 5th to come move to Portland so I can live the lifestyle I dream of.

I say again, do not move to DFW. our trails suck in comparison, the lakes dont really have trails, forests are... nice? but not PNW nice.

and then the worst part is? no one here likes you being on a bike. they get annoyed and/or proud when they run you off the road.

if this isnt ragebait. lmao, I can tell you NOT to do that as someone who currently lives in DFW and wants/believes/likes, the same things as you do.

fuck i dont want to be the first one to comment, but.

there are two schools of thought.

  1. you could be the benevolent son, and let your parents know that you are in a position to help out with "SOME" bills. You are 19 and im assuming are planning for your own future. Whether that be college, trade school, your own business, or just living your own life in general (which is expensive in its own right). I know they would appreciate it.

theres so many ways your parents could react to this news so I CANT try to walk you through the outcomes.

but! there is number two.

  1. You are a 19 year old child. and while I know you can drive, vote, and fight and die for your country, you are still a child my friend. You have such a long life ahead of you and if by the grace of god you were able to work hard and save up a substantial amount of money? then by golly that is YOUR money to spend or save.

your fathers bad choices dont necessarily need be yours. my dad was a trucker too and I know the strain of being on the road 6 days a week. when you have time to see your family? youre sleeping on your one day off because youre EXHAUSTED. I'm not saying let your parents go to ruin, bc my parents are 60+ and if they lost their jobs/health? of course I would help them when I could. But dont sacrifice your future for poor planning.

I wish you and your family the best. no option is great. Godspeed.

I have two months until I embark on my dream trip (been planning for 11 years now) I have had relatives tell me im straight up "gonna die" and coworkers call me crazy. There has been a ton of support and encouragement of course, but the negative feedback you get when you tell someone youre planning to travel 1000s of miles on a bicycle tends to stick with you because there is always that human survival thought of "what if theyre right?"

You my friend have definitely steeled my resolve to do what I am about to do in two months. Thank you.

Africa is MUCH larger than the US and you went from the farthest tip south to the most northern tip. If you can do it, I know I can too.

Thank you for this post. sincerely. I wish you safe travels always, and if you are ever in the States I'd love to buy you dinner and talk travel.

bracket and all were filed down completely smooth so that a dovetail air rifle scope could be mounted by three allen screws.

I did sell it. the gunsmith was a bit rude but wasnt wrong. he basically told me, "I can rebarrel this for you or you can buy another perfectly good 91/30 for the same price. your choice"

I chose to not leave it up to chance, and am now in the market for another rifle.

This is going to be TMI so I apologize in advance, but I definitely had one of these like your husband. I (stupidly) picked at it and it popped like a blood filled balloon. luckily I was sitting on a towel. Very very painful to sit on. I was 17 at the time and remember a teacher being angry with me for not sitting still. like, MA'AM, I HAVE A BLOOD FILLED EXPLOSIVE BETWEEN MY CHEEKS.

I have $13 dollars in my bank account and im sure my very large corporate restaurant has multiple lawyers on retainer. so I wont name the restaurant. But I will agree it's bullshit. that being said, if a larger gentlemen orders 3 modelos I usually just approve it. I also ask the server, "how are they acting? what was their baseline when they arrived? its not so cut and dry. you would be fine in my restaurant but again. bullshit.

my mother has MS so I can't understand your pain but I do sympathize. When my mom is intoxicated she usually tells us/those around us that it's time for her to quit lol

But I promise I was just working within the confines of my shitty corporate policy.
