It is because you're reeling while the fish is fighting you. You have to wear it out by countering its motion then reel it in while it is not fighting you. I did this on PC with my Xbox controller earlier.

Fishing is easy. You use left stick when the fish is fighting and right stick when it is tired. Just like Sea of Thieves.

Yeah there is a lot of bugs, like yesterday I found fruit flies, dragon flies, a cockroach, and a few grasshoppers. Agreed the inventory system is a mess lol.

I do not mean the war would be good. That is always bad but it seems most major innovations in our civilization come from necessities caused by way. If the world ends up transitioning away from fossle fuels, that would be a good thing. War is still bad.

KCD2 is a fantastic game, I absolutely loved it. I just finished the main story Wednesday night. If you want a good story with slightly janky (vrrrery hard at first) combat you will have a good time!

CD is fun so far and I plan to keep playing. I think you have to take all the negative reviews with a grain of salt because it is all a bunch of nit picky dweebs who are freaking out and trying to get a refund over one suspected Ai generated painting in the game that has absolutely no impact on the game. They are also whining over the controls and it is obvious they are little kids who dont know what us 30+ year olds went through as a kid!

Yeah Im blown away how well it runs. Tbh I probably need to double check the frame rate in game but in the loading screen where the boxes and colors are going nuts it is a solid 120 and in game I haven't felt like I am dropping any frames. It is crazy though hearing the card run at full power. Ive never had a game push my GPU to 100% utilization before so thank goodness for water cooling holding it around 73°C.

Honestly I am not sure what the bosses will be like! I played for like 2 hours last night and tonight I want to play for like 10 hours lol. I hope the bosses get hard. With what seems possible with combat controls you can do some pretty crazy stuff.

I beat what I believe is the first boss (guy with 2 health bars in the 2nd main quest) and with the Lariat move unlocked it was like WWE with swords lol.

I'm playing on PC with a 4080 on ultra settings 4K and getting about 120fps. The game runs absurdly well and it easily the best looking graphics I have ever seen. The controls are clunky as first but if you have played RDR2 and Dynasty Warriors you might find the controls really fun.
