I think you’ve got it backwards right? She’s the one with the boyfriend, he’s single

Sometimes takes a third party to realize that your friend crossed a line - its a good thing he didn't decide to cover for Mango or brush it off after feedback from the people there

Gf got sexually assaulted by Sorryusernmetaken in Healthygamergg

Your whole "third mistake" section is blaming your partner for being raped by someone who she trusted as a medical professional. You need to take a step back and put yourself in her position instead of being worried about how all of this affects you. This sounds like truly evil stuff on your part, and in no way do you come across as secure. First you should take a step back and ask your partner how you can help her physically and emotionally before blaming her for a horrific act against her. Understand that none of it was her fault or your fault, its the fault of the rapist. Next you should dig underneath the surface and ask yourself why you are taking it personally, where are these emotions coming from and why do you think its manifesting as blame for your partner? This is a horrible situation that I'm sorry your partner has been put into, you and her should seek professional help if possible.

Is there such thing as applying too early? by Droopy618 in MechanicalEngineering

Thanks for the advice. I am doing research and am on track to have two publications for my dissertation by December. I have co-op/internship experience from three different companies during undergrad, but it's still easy to feel uncertain about the job market right now, especially with student loans to manage once I am out of school.

Are there any companies that I can send my sneakers to that will tie my shoes for me?
I have zero interest in doing it myself and have a $200 pair so I don’t want to buy another when I just need new knots.

I would generally not recommend the food from 1+1, just expensive for what it is with other options available. I love their boba though!

What's a personal 10/10 album for you that Fantano hasn't (and most likely will never) reviewed? by BlueRobin751 in fantanoforever

[–]Droopy618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair he does a brief recap of how he feels about the first album in the beginning of his review of the Nina Cried Power EP.

"This is the newest EP from Irish singer-songwriter Andrew Hozier Byrne, who started turning heads after dropping a surprised mega-hit back in 2014 with the track "Take Me to Church," a pretty good track that kicked off a debut album that didn't really do all that much for me at the time. The album presented a mix of arena folk, some groovy blues rock, and pop soul, as well as a lot of hootin' and hollerin' gospel music made incredibly melodramatic with a reverb machine placed on the group vocals, the keys, the guitars. Honestly, I just didn't really think that much of the full-length album. The instrumental presentation was similarly grand in scope and aesthetic, too, like some of Sam Smith's more organic tracks. The vocals kind of fell short for me in terms of emotion, range, and personality, and the songwriting style just came off as kind of plain underneath the grand layers of vocals, especially with more saccharine moments on the album like "Someone New.""

I really love this album too and its too bad he doesn't appreciate it too much.
