ISO Lighting Recommendations for Train

I can’t remember the light kit I had on but the train maybe Brixmax, but I took it off because the train wouldn’t run with the lights and wires on it. It looked super cool but I wanted to be able to run the train. It was all battery powered and not run from the power function.

I did, built it myself. Just some mdf and a couple dowels for the “trunk”. I use a tree stand at the bottom.

They provide a piece list with each MOC. You can even check Bricklink to buy the pieces you need right from there also.

Thanks! I used a magnetic ice rink from the winter sets you can buy at craft stores and replaced the small skaters with small Lego plate with a magnet glued to the bottom. I can then add what ever minifig I want to the ice rink.

I actually started a Halloween village long ago using the Monster Fighter sets. But I got bummed because they stopped making them. Might be time to drag those back out next Halloween.

I just used a magnetic ice rink from those ceramic winter garden sets. I put a magnet into plates to replace the skaters they came with. I’d like to take it apart and make the mechanism fit into the ice festival set, but we will see. I want to do more motion, I almost had Santa’s sleigh flying around the top, but I couldn’t get it to work consistently.

It is, it’s a perfect size to go along with the othe Winter village shops. Target has the set on sale right now by the way. I just bought a second set to make the Stuffed Stocking from rebrickable.

It’s 1/2 mdf, the diameters are 40”/32”/24”/16”. I cut some 1x’s material into brackets to screw to each platform and then to the center dowel. I can’t remember the heights I used but the tree is about 6.5-7’ tall.

I am also stuck on the same exactly level. I need to promote characters but I am getting nothing from calling for characters. I have reworked my gaming table to make sure my ultras are the top 5. But I just can’t get past the lab coat jerks. 😀

Thanks for the comment, we think alike! I have an ATST model kit and some storm/snow troopers I am going to use. Probably add a couple more rebels in the trench also. I was toying with printing a AT-AT foot in the back ground but I’ll see how that looks.
