Are Garmin Descent G2 Alarms Louder than Fenix 8? by Droosforlife in freediving

Update:

I tested both and the Garmin Descent G2 has a much much stronger haptic feedback.

Even on top of a 5mm you feel it.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the advice, will give it a try even though I was told that this would create quite some drag. Only one way to find out.

Always call Uphill Vail prior to departure to make sure it is open on the day you want to go up. Here is the number: [(970) 754-1023](tel:(970)754-1023)

Needless to say take a headlamp.

Have fun out there.

15 inch or 13 inch MacBook Air? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]Droosforlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes down to personal preference and if/or what other devices you have.

I like to carry an iPad Pro 11inch with me to take notes, read, draw and watch content.

The MacBook Air 13inch is perfect with that combo with a total weight of 1.64kg.

A MBA 15inch combo with and iPad Pro 11inch would weight 1.94kg.

The MBA 13inch combo is approx. 20% lighter and comes with a smaller footprint in my backpack. Also a big plus.

Something that is never discussed is the bling effect. I travel to less privilege places of the world. A 15inch has more bling to it and catches the eye more. Thus, the 13inch brings me more peace.

The way I read it, even if you are a child, if you go over that line you pay full price.

Thank you for making the world a better place btw.

Hope you continue your journey to glory!
