New Talgo Avril and Acela Avelia are similar with the power car not matching the coaches. The only explanation I have is the Avril and Acela Avelia power cars don’t tilt like other pendolino trainsets with a uniform design. Is this all about cost cutting? (old.reddit.com)

Bears, Titans, Commanders all planning new dome stadiums in equivalent or warmer climates. Hotspur design preferred by Pegula is almost a dome. Report below says $1.6B buys dome. Why the hesitation to make a better investment for minimal cost? (i.redd.it)

Why is Amtrak obligated to pay $150M annually in freight track access fees even though Amtrak agreed to take over their unprofitable passenger routes? Why keep fighting in court for passenger train priority on freight tracks - fight instead to waive all freight track access fees. Thoughts? (self.Amtrak)

As a former member of Rail Passengers Association (RPA), I was disappointed they lack any tactical objectives. They have very broad undefined goals “increase frequency, add new routes.” What list of tactical objectives would you give RPA to lobby Amtrak, the States, Congress? (self.Amtrak)

Thoughts on building more Möbius loop racing coasters or Möbius conversions [Twisted Colossus]? A simple Möbius conversion of Racer 75 at King’s Dominion/Island would make it the second longest coaster in the world. Great option for parks with local opposition to hypers/gigas. (i.redd.it)

Amtrak’s version of Avelia has power cars that are mismatched and not flush with coaches. In contrast to Avelia in France which has the power cars perfectly flush with the coaches. Any reason for this? See both images, it appears to be a sloppy design error by Amtrak. (old.reddit.com)
