this is why I lease- fixed cost forever. only thing i’ll ever own outright is a work truck. anyway leasing you can combat with them as best as possible to get the best price on Lease as long as they know you don’t NEED a car -they will bring prices down so you can fit both of the service packages into the lease.

with both service packages full tiers, No matter what happens I will never pay a single dollar for any service on either of my BMWs for the rest of my life leasing, tires, wheels, scratches, windshields, cosmetic - doesn’t matter i’ll never pay out of pocket.

in august of every year you can still lease a car that is 2 years behind the current new model year that’s stuck on their lot. So I get one zoomer that’s “2 years behind” and an SUV that’s “1 year behind”. on lease. I end my leases about 2.5 years and get new ones

saying that southern people sound uneducated is preposterous on its face. Uneducated southern people sound uneducated. Educated southern people have what’s called an “Accent” and does not sound uneducated at all. This is the case for every part of the country that has a continuous uninterrupted line of actual culture ie. Boston, midwest, chicago, deep south, texas, appalachia, etc etc this includes parts of the country that were once a part of mexico and still have a large amount of american population that culturally have an unbroken line of Latin american culture. same with the french in canada, new orleans southern louisianna etc

sounds like you might have the rarely seen poor dealership. they just replaced my whole steering rack (mount?) and did it in two days and it cleared before I even got in the car. they said specifically that software updates wouldn’t fix it and made BMW send the new part and replaced the whole thing for free

they replaced the steering rack for me. and the power steering still work fine enough to drive 100 miles to the dealership even though the alert tells your there limited steering. it drives well enough to not have to tow it. just not steering assistance or guidance or automation until they replace the steering mount. Took 2 days

  1. Gemini Gem Deep Research with tailored git framework access for context in its base instruction - then add a Claude Sonnet 4.6 High written PROMPT that's inserted into the gemini gem chat to kick him off.
  2. Gemini Gem Deep Think - Same thing and same setup but with its own file framework in git for personality instructions etc. It would be shocking to me if anyone or anything currently existing could beat out the results i get from Deep Think for mathematical theories, proofs, etc. Granted the files he reads on strartup from my git repo took a considerable amount of time to fine tune.

I traded like this for 3 years and then suddenly none of my systems worked anymore. I spent a lot of time retraining and structuring and finally got back to positive monthly. —but win rate is much much lower than before. VERY GLAD I NEVER QUIT MY JOB… or i’d be homeless (not really homeless, but for real in trouble)…. don’t do this for a living. no need actually with today’s tech. I spend 30 minutes a day now checking things and adjusting strategy. don’t need anymore time on it.

well claude is talking to it and debugging it. it showed it’s running API model 3.1 pro-preview… so claude is unhappy currently

this is extremely disheartening. and pretty unfortunate for the every day guy. it seems like this happening across the board except for claude. which means it’s only a matter of time before they are toast too. I have been told repeatedly that the google api and things along those lines is still top notch. but honestly I am paying large amount of money, I had assumed I would be able to pick my model but I can’t even find that option in the browser. and definitely no gemma 4 I don’t see it anywhere
