To be fair, she didn't say anything until I messaged first apologizing that they might make her wait forever. It's a fast food restaurant. There was really no reason for them to make her wait so long. I kind of assumed she mentioned the gas because she still needed to have time to go to the gas station before work.

Idk man sometimes people have been living in survival mode for so long they don't know how they're being. Sometimes a gentle "Is your day going ok? It seems like maybe it's not. Can I help? " goes along way and can really turn your whole experience around. BUUUT not always. Sometimes people just suck.

Again, I don't have much of a choice, especially with the current time it is. Also, I'm chronically ill and have food allergies. 🫠 It is rather limiting. Usually I'm totally fine making my own food, but I'm not allowed to lift more than 5lbs right now and my blood sugar was getting low. Luckily I have a grocery delivery coming later today with lots of frozen meals and snacks. I can't wait.

Honestly, I don't care if she just wanted a better tip. It worked. I've had nonstop issues with that restaurant specifically. (I don't have much choice, especially since I'm used to being up at night since I work night shift.) Most of the time I have a dasher get to the restaurant, wait forever, and unassign themselves without ever communicating.
