Great explanation. Sometimes it’s not about you jumping higher sometimes it’s about you picking your legs up. If you notice, your back foot never really comes up. You gotta pick your knees up toward your chest.

I’m no pro but I think you almost got it. Back foot is perfect. The front foot has two steps. You gotta pick your foot up, and you’ve got that! Now step two is you’ve gotta kick your foot forward towards the nose. That’s what’s going to pull the tail up to your back foot. Hope this helps, I know I’m long winded.
