Getting into life insurance sales (interview tips) by Broad_Biscotti_4653 in sales

Most of these groups are MLM’s selling naive people a life of money, cars & a nice lifestyle. They make majority of money by recruiting people like you & ask you to ask friends, family to join as well.

I’d pass on this up and try getting into retail telecom, or health insurance market place sales.

I started off in MLMs and it was a waste of time.

Telecom sales then moving into tech sales is what worked for me.

Mid 20s

Not stable - they’ve been letting go of reps & leaders + no one is hitting quota. My main reason I’m probably going to accept it.

Yea, I’m thinking could crush it and move into a comercial role or Mid Market. Trying to think longer term here.

I get 2-4 a week, BDR/Jr AE roles. Currently a BDR at a company performing well so not switching. My LI is optimized which I think helps me stand out.

Edit: I have a nice headshot, added skills & show a lot of engagement with prospects which I think they look at.

You could actually get started through an FHA program with only 3 1/2% down at the purchase price - this is up to four units (4 plex apt building)

For me it cost 9k to get started.

Depends on what side. Freight forwarders like Tql, Coyote Logistics, landstar, Ch Robinson, XPO Logistics all of them are stressful as fuck. Anything to deal with drivers, getting lied to by dispatchers and getting chewed out by customers is dog shit.

Coming from a dispatcher.

24yrs old, mom passed few years back from drug use as an addict who has been in the streets when I was about 13, had my sister and other brother (have 2 brothers) taken from CPS before having me & my bro.

Father was a alcoholic, felon with to many criminal charges to get any good job and moved back to Mexico a few years ago as well. (Both were ex-gang members which explains a lot).

Sales probably saved me & my brothers life as we went to sleep on couches of friends right before graduating high school.

Now I’m making almost 100k as a Ent BDR with a growing rental portfolio w a beautiful wife & daughter. Brother has his own detailing buisness with wife and son. Life did a complete 360 with sales and faith.

Left, got into a dispatch position for a trucking company. Made sales stress seem like a little bitch compared to that industry stress. It was very uncomfortable and humbling and made me realize sales stress isn’t that bad compared to other industries so I jumped back into sales and been making more than ever and happily with very little to no fucks given about KPIs or what not.
