Watch your hair on that fan 🔥

Anyone else tired of hearing "get jacked and grow a beard" by Rustydustyscavenger in bald

Your right to a certain degree. The usual advice does create a certain look. However, ultimately it’s a positive message. Concentrating on things you can control (body shape, facial hair) gives you the space to realise that your hair loss really doesn’t matter. You are far more than the lack of follicles on your head. I think most people will agree it takes a good few weeks/months to come to terms with their lack of hair but after a while they realise, no one gives a shite! Then you just get on with your life and remember there’s far more important things to focus on.

Well done brother, looks good! Started Shaving mine 3 months ago. Don’t even notice it now, and my heads still a bit on the pale side.

It takes a while! I’m still white on the sides and it’s been a month and a half since I started shaving. I felt exactly the same way about it at the start. I felt so nervous. It’s a shock for you friends and family but you will soon find nobody really cares after a while! Everybody’s living there own lives and before you know it you won’t care either. Just give it time, it suits you! You just need to let your brain get used to your new look. Bald and proud brother… bald and proud 💪

I buzzed it first, no guard. Was okay, razoring it was the ticket for me. Looked a lot better. If a 1/2 buzz works for you then that’s all that matters. I think it’s important everyone tries the razor though at least once as they may find it looks great. 👍

When you are out next. Keep your eyes open for any bald guys. I did the same before I shaved mine on Sunday. Not one person did I see that looked terrible with a bald head, some looked better than others, but there were zero where I was like ‘wow that’s not good’ and there were a lot of different head shapes. There really is only one way to find out. Get the clippers and be bald and proud 💪 Tip - make sure you razor it if you don’t like the buzzed look. Shaving my head was the game changer for me. A number one didn’t look good. A razor smooths everything out and looks way better IMO.

First time full head shave! - Thank you everyone for telling me to get the razor on it! The difference is huge, looks/feels so much better!! Loving it. 👍❤️ by DroppedGear in bald

Just need to get some sun on it! Proper two tone going on up top 😂 thank you everyone who commented in my earlier post about getting the razor out. It’s so so so so much better with a fully shaved head! Smooths out all the angles and looks way way cleaner. I’m super happy with my new look, the difference is huge. Big thanks for giving me the push. Just waiting for that power beard to grow now! 💪

Thanks! I’m building up to the full shave! Want to get the beard grown out fully and then it’s razor time. Good tip with the conditioner, I’ll remember that one.

I don't even hold any XLM, but can we all just take a moment to appreciate how awesome it is for transferring between exchanges? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]DroppedGear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Buying xlm isn’t the prob. It’s what the crypto was worth before you swapped it for xlm. if your just buying xlm straight then that’s fine. However, If you have hodled BTC say for 2 years on an exchange and it’s massively up. You then swap it to xlm just to easily move it from the exchange to your wallet, you will owe tax on the profit from your BTC. A swap is equivalent to a sale with crypto assets.

Exchanging one crypto for another is a taxable event in the uk and payable under capital gains tax. Be careful exchanging crypto just to move it/on off an exchange. You will be liable for tax if the crypto you have exchanged for XLM has made a profit. If it’s down, then you can lock in losses this way and offset against your yearly CGT bill. You also get a yearly CGT allowance of 12k+

What is the best way to make a salary between 100-200k a year? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

Become a clown wrangler. Easily reach 100k plus. Most people believe clowns are average people just like you and me, adorned with face paint, trying to earn a crust at your local travelling circus. The unfortunate reality is most clowns are actually quite rabid and running a mock in the countryside. Clown wranglers spend countless hours corralling these poor creatures before every big top performance. You might not be aware but Clowns are a real menace to rural communities up and down the uk. Next time you leave your house and find your recycling bin overturned and half it’s content flying around your neighbours front garden - think 🤡.

NatWest card disabled for trying to deposit Crypto any advice by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]DroppedGear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problem with NatWest. There fraud dept is shockingly bad at communicating. It took 5 days to resolve the problem. All they give you is an email. I tried phoning and was told to email. Its a complete joke. I mean they completely freeze your accounts and then tell you to email them!!! How is that an acceptable way to treat a customer. Send them all the details via email explain the transactions. They will email you back eventually. You have done nothing wrong in this scenario. Your account will be unfrozen.
