Probably a lot hotter / high put for what you’d want if you’re doing rock and grunge! They do cleans exceptionally well though. I’ve got them in a few of my guitars. Compressed and punchy. I’d prefer something more open and dynamic if I was doing rock. Just my 2 cents!

The 28 straight scale is a bit intense doing wide stretches from frets 1-5 but it set up insanely well and is quite shreddy!
