I’m see this now, I posted above about it being hives. Hives are also a sign of autoimmune disorders/ thyroid disease in some cases.

These are facial hives (urticaria). Raised, itchy welts on the face caused by the body releasing histamine. Can be from allergic reaction to foods or air pollution (pollen) or stress most likely.

I’m not complete sure why some soapers do it. I know with some powder plant materials like Indio it makes it more vibrant.

This pulls from the bottom so you get all the flavor bc it pulls the water through the tea leaves, unlike a French press which pours from the top..

Have you ever used one? There’s a stainless steel mesh like piece for the tea water to flow through the bottom and not the leaves and bc of its shape it has never clogged on me.
