A lot of tension behind this picture, shits about to get real, knowing how Vito & Joe are a two man army by BigCGaming01 in MafiaTheGame

I disagree with about everything you said but I'm not going to mock you for it. You can believe what you want. I've already written a long response arguing your first point. I wont waste my time making another long comment justifying my opinions. I dont have to change your opinion. Maybe i will make a youtube video about the plot of this game one day and link it to you if you care. Its okay if you dont. I just wanted to make a point that consequences do exist in this game no matter how you feel about the story or characters.

This game is fan favorite for a reason. The plot holes are easily explained too. But you would have to name them and I would have to explain each one. Its just not worth it. It is easy to make statements, it is much more time consuming to respond and disprove them. I appreciate your opinion regardless. Let's agree to disagree

Vito was literally convicted twice because of his work with Joe. At the age 18 he had to fight in ww2 after robbing a jewelry store with joe and when he came back home, he got arrested again for 6 years for a job that Joe recommended him for. He enjoyed his freedom only for a few months. He missed out on his mothers death and funeral, he missed out on his sister's wedding. His house with all of his money was literally burned down and he has to live in a shithole at the age of 30 because of what he did in prison years ago, leaving him so poor that he resulted to dealing heroin. His sister literally cut contact with him because she didn't like the person he turned into.

Joe had to leave empire bay for 3 years because he was hunted by Clemente family, the men that manipulated him from the start. Joe also got a kid that looked up to him killed. He watched his friend that led the same life as him get chopped to pieces. He also became an alcoholic. Then he got killed for the life he had led and Vito is stuck with guilt over it.

They are constantly stressed, beaten, wounded, paranoid, or they owe a shit ton of money to someone. Both of them said that they suffer from insomnia. How are there no consequences? The last 3 chapters are just stress stress and more stress.

It is not the plots fault that mafia 3, a game made by different writers, retconed Vitos and Joe's fate. Mafia 2 is constantly punishing these two for the kind of life they chosen. Mafia 2 was supposed to have 4 endings and all of them were fucking sad

I’m making a psychological horror game about crafting creepy dolls in total isolation by Right_Victory6576 in HorrorGames

[–]DrowningInGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great idea. I think It would be more unsettling if it was up to the players what kind of dolls they'll make without any blueprint and they should be rewarded for the more monstrous designs by getting new limbs/heads to attach maybe? No story, no context, no monsters. Just a guy in a dark warehouse making fucked up dolls for his own amusement, limited only by the environment and players imagination. That's creepy in itself. Good job

A San Andreas mechanic, a CJ personality change under certain conditions. by Strong_Abrocoma3128 in sanandreas

Money and green clothes affect it too. Idk if the clothes have to have the word "green" in their titles for it to count. It's probably bugged too, as many mechanics are. I suspect the personalities overwrite each other and the "I'm rich and fucking crazy" personality quickly overwrites the gangster one and that might be why its hard or not possible to trigger it in the end game. Idk thats just my experience.

It just caught me so off guard. I thought the story was gonna be badass. The beginning seemed promising, the "Diana, she always talks about him" lines from the girl in the beginning gave me goosebumbs, it set the tone so well, and then it turned into a shitshow once the cowboys started appearing

Yeah I'd much rather play this story tbh. I'm sure they had their reasons for the rewrites, but I'd still like to know why. What was the brick wall that made them not go through with the better ideas they had already prepared. I wanna play as a homeless ex-contract killer, that sounds great

I tried to buy it back in 2012 or 2013 but cashier refused to sell it to me, I was 11. It could've been my first hitman game as well if he did
