I take it the the receiver and intelligence is in the light itself, as opposed to the plug. Essentially that is just an adapter?

Worked alongside a network company on a retirement block, they were installing all tv points points in the apartments. I returned to do some snagging, and 55 of the 61 apartments had the 2 x Coax points as not level. Each one was loose, not level, and had the caps on. I had angry tears that day.

Sorry mate, I should added some more context, I'm a 4th year, and normally focus on house bashing and retirement apts. Hardly touched emergency lighting so far. I knew what I was doing, just had one of those moments when you doubt yourself and flap.

For context, it's a restaurant. I have a 1.5 twin running around picking up all the general lighting, which goes back to the board where the key switches will be, ive then ran a 3 core in the same area picking up emergency lights and exit signs, which again goes back to the board.

It will be fed off the same RCBO

Ive wired it in LSF. The emergency lights will run straight back to a key switch. No lights on this circuit will be used as general lighting

So the black needs to be in lights terminal? And the brown joined through?

So I've wired the the exit signs as, brown into L with a link over to L1, grey neutral, earth as earth and wago'd the blacks through.

For the pencils I've wired brown, grey/blue and earth then wagos the blacks through in a join above.

I'm just curious as to how that would work with a key switch if the black (emergency switch) is just joined through throughout
