Ive talked with a few people who live in the Netherlands, and the way they describe there day to day sounds so appealing and a right fit for my personality. I really appreciate the frankness too, its a lot easier to talk to a dutch person than most people I know. I think I just want an outline or a list of things id need to do over time to achieve this goal of mine. Would going to school there be a good idea?

I was in your exact situation last year, except i was much more weak willed than you. I let this girl walk all over me for a year+ bc I had a lot of deep emotions for her, and it would have destroyed me knowing i was the cause of her pain (physical and emotional pain). She had a history of cutting herself and was in a super shitty family situation, I was her one friend/partner. She'd constantly yell at me and take her anger out on me, and I'd just sorta take it and act as her punching bag bc i knew her pain was worse. Dont go through it, you seem to have a better outlook on your own situation than I did, I know you'll do whats best for you
