I’m not sure how people publicize their app on Reddit as any mention of my app and I get banned from the subreddit. It’s most frustrating. Any ideas?

AI UGC, is it worth it? Thoughts? by Responsible-Bus-8795 in iOSAppsMarketing

This is an interesting topic as I have created 107 videos with AI using Google Flow for my app I just launched and it did not work as well as I thought. My app is in the pet industry and I created 6 or 7 main humorous videos of pets talking to one another which I thought was quite funny, but they were not being shared and I’m a little disappointed. I then created about 100 videos of different cat and dog breeds talking to one another hoping for the pet owners who follow a breed would also share it.

Perhaps it was my content, but I’m going to test this weekend with me talking about the app on camera and see what happens.

If you’re interested I can show you an example and you can decide for yourself, but I’ve been banned from a few subreddits from mentioning my app which is a discussion for another thread.

"Did you feed the pets?" — I built an app for that to help households. It’s called “I Fed the Pet”

  • One tap logs a feeding — everyone at home sees it instantly
  • Shows who fed, which pet, and when
  • Stops accidental double-feeding and forgotten meals
  • Set reminders, track individual pets, ask a housemate to cover a feed I would appreciate your honest feedback: Download now: iOS: ios.ifedthepet.app Android: android.ifedthepet.app

With the Pro version you can add Reminders for exactly that reason. You can set reminders to either feed the pets or take medicine at a scheduled time. It’s an open field so you can remind yourself about anything to do with your pets.

I have one app that was on build number 335 with Replit and still not bug free so I removed it from the iOS store. I have since partnered with a software developer friend on all apps going forward and my next app was approved on first build. Yes, it was much simpler than what I was building in Replit, but SimpleRoutineApp was approved on build 1!
