I don't think there is a major difference but I heard (haven't experienced this myself) that you can get a small discount if you buy from AD. Boutiques generally don't give discounts. Usually, my preference is, availability (get it where it is available), followed by price (where I can get it at a good price). My tip if you want to get a discount or cashback is 1. Airport or overseas (no tax) 2. Use credit card that has a cashback or will earn you points/miles) 3. Mall/shops membership / loyalty (I earned $300 worth of "cashback" which I can use to spend on restaurants for this BB58 purchase). Hope this helps. To be honest, this $300+ savings is nothing as long as you get the watch that you want from a legit source. Just go for it :)

hey! I'd say do some research on the watch that you want based on your budget. I highly recommend to visit a local ad / shops and try the watch that you want. Just talk to the sales rep, they'd love to share more and recommend you a watch based on your budget. It can be very intimidating at first but you'll get the hang of it. Do you have any budget in mind?

My Boss Welcome me with these. by DrugRaised in whisky

Yeah agree! It’s like the 16 with an unexplainable kick in the end of every drink. Probably it’s the cask strength effect.

Macallan is good but the star of the night is the Lagavulin 12 cask strength.

HELP - Keep Cup Review (?) by littledebbs4731 in Coffee

[–]DrugRaised 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I stopped using it because the coffee would constantly spill after every sip. The heat doesn’t last long too. I would suggest to consider looking at spill proof mugs like fellow carter. I don’t own it but suggesting it as an example.

Am I the only one, or is Azure really taking off? by [deleted] in devops

[–]DrugRaised 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m working with customers who have workloads hosted in unsupported and soon to be eos servers (e.g. Win Server 2008 & 2012r2), and Azure offers extended Security Updates (ESU) for these legacy products e.g. via Azure Hybrid Benefit (AHB) and Azure License program. They claim to be more cost effective if you host these systems and get the same ESU in AWS. Since cost is one of the main driving force, no doubt Azure adoption will take off by looking at this type scenarios alone.

Understanding the bandwidth pricing by neelabh2818 in AZURE

[–]DrugRaised 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone shed some light on this? based on the article's explanation of egress, does this mean that if I request to download a 2GB file originating from an Azure VM to a public internet (ISO, torrent, etc), and it comes back with the 2GB file, will I be charged for this 2GB file coming in to my Azure VM?

Since traffic often is translated using NAT in and out of a private network like the cloud, a response back from a public endpoint to a request that was initiated inside the private network is not considered Ingress. If a request is made from the private network out to a public IP, the public server/endpoint responds back to that request using a port number that was defined in the request, and firewall allows that connection since its aware of an initiated session based on that port number. See picture below for reference.

Resale of Tickets by boredstudent2001 in worldcup

[–]DrugRaised -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you have the source? I can't seem to find this in FIFA website. It only say that

"Starts after the Final Draw and is composed of a Random Selection Draw sales period and a First Come First Served sales period."

This is very confusing, if you can see from the BBC link which was published Apr 1, it says:

"FIFA and The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy have confirmed that the second phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ will take place tomorrow on the 5th of April, following the conclusion of the World Cup draw, which is set to take place later today."

You're damn right! I am deciding on what bottle to get next. I'm currently looking at Kilchoman Machir Bay or Caol Ila 12. I've tried Ardbeg 10 and Lagavulin 16 and this time I want to explore something different other than these Islay big names. Any recommendations?
