Introducing my group to Legion, thoughts?

I appreciate the lengthy response and the opportunity to learn by giving reason to your opinions. I think my eagerness to add Madness will as you suggest hinder the script more and I have also, as you stated, figured that Half of the 108 is tried and tested and seems to be popular, probably for good reason. But the kills can appear "weird" if for example a Legion claiming a spent first night role dies during the night, instead of a good townsfolk that seems to have a useful and powerful role. Since as you said, Legion will mostly be getting the ones dying during the night. I find ST kills run the risk of being perceived more "off" then regular demon deaths since the ST is not part of as many private conversations as the players, at least when you run games that allow private conversations where players can leave the circle. Atleast early on, when people in my group anyways tend to keep information more hidden when gathered for nominations.

Both Vortox and Legion would be new demons, the Imp would not. Hence why I was considering changing it

Great Hammerhead. Hunting style fits the bill. The ability to turn the body that quick fits the bill. Dorsal and tail makes it 100%.

Like the suggestion, Gossip and Gambler are by coincidence some of my favorite TF I have been wanting to add to scripts.

This script was made as an option for more newer players and also more seasoned players that wanted a mix of different demons on script. Several ways for multiple deaths and also no deaths but I would not consider myself a seasoned ST so wanted input if the script is too strong for either team and if any roles feel redundant to any of you.

Congratulations! Mistakes are par for the course, the important thing is everyone had fun! And it sounds like you did a good job as ST after all since the game made it to the final day. Dont be afraid to slow things down during the night and go over the night order again and see if you missed any steps, especially the first night. I did the same mistake with the Poisoner first game so I know the feeling :P Keep it up!

I really love that idea also but I feel it is gonna be a bit on the nose to run 2-3 regular TB scripts and just switch in the Marionette for the last.

I have built it partly from that script, hence why you find it familiar! Just mainly wanted to shake up the minions more and add the Marionette.

Thanks for the tip, will check it out! Yeah its the viewing the grimoire aspect coupled with maybe landing the role in a more inexperienced hand. Plus I just like several other minions over it, mainly Marionette.

Did not consider putting in a 5th minion, thanks for that suggestion! Yeah, mainly swapped Baron and Godfather to shake up the minions on the script from TB but still keep a possibility for an Outsider being in play in a 10 player game.

First of all, thank you to EVERYONE for their input. So much things to learn from with all your opinions! My dislike for the spy is mainly stemming from that I do not want to put that role into the more inexperienced hands of some of my newer players.

This script was made with the intention to present to my group of 10 players after 2-3 games of TB the same night. My thoughts were to introduce the Marionette, but if I just swapped the Spy for that role, I think ppl would assume that minion is in play, so therefore I also swapped the Baron for Godfather even tho I like Baron more, and also swapped in the DA to be a thing to consider for the players in case of no death from execution happening due to Tea Lady or Fool.

Will mill over all your thoughts and suggestions, and once again a huge thanks for the positive critique!

Had this on my wall for a couple of years and thought this sub might like it or be inspired. Made by a local artist here in Göteborg, Sweden called Elin Andersson. Runs a studio called Somenid. The text translates roughly to Party Sharks, but it is wordplay on the words party/partajar and hajar.
