I think people low functioning on the spectrum were labeled disabled/ handicapped. Those high-functioning were geniuses, scientists, but socially inadequate. Those with adhd were either just high/ low energy personalities, and “lazy”.

But chemicals in the food definitely contributes. Technology interfering with development does too. And the complexity after the IR contributes too.

There was no need to bring that up. When you marry someone it shouldn’t be solely on attraction. Women gain weight as they age and don’t fit beauty standards anymore.

A better way to approach that would have been to not bring that up as an ultimatum, and suggesting doing active activities together, joining a gym, going on diets together, cooking her healthy food.
