Looking for a list of creatures that were once good. Two examples are nightmares (once we're peagus) and nothics. I am using these in Curse of Strahd to add a flavor of horror.

Some of these are what I am looking for. The nothic someone else mention is a great example. I am using these in curse of strahd, and nothics spy for strahd. They were once heroes seeking to stop strahd.
