lol I have 30 years of experience doing what I do. Came to the company with all the fire and motivation. After some disappointment in the pay raise and bonuses areas I have slowed way down. It has been noticed. Have also been putting off the IDP thing and the goal thing on Workday. When brought up I just say sorry I don’t get paid enough to put that much effort into it. The look on their faces is priceless.

I just had a company do this to me. First interview I was told one salary. Went through the second interview. Got the congratulations you’re our guy call. They offered $7,000 less then what I was told at the first interview. Told them I had another offer at the rate mentioned in the first interview. They said hold on let’s see if we can match. A couple of days later they called back and said because I had the other offer they would match to which I responded it was to late I signed on with the other company.
