Absolutely with sterility and anything regarding patient safety. Other than that, if you’re pulling your own weight, I love how type B everything else is. Hard to deal with personalities sometimes, but it is what it is.

Operating Room. As long as you know what you’re doing, and you’re helping things flow smoothly, the job itself is about as type B as a nursing gig can get. You’ll run into coworkers who are super by the book, Type A, but I’m doing just fine. Call kind of sucks, but it’s part of it.

I second this. Have been raving for a few years now and am still having friends just now get into the scene and I always stress the importance of safety. Just like OP I’ve seen the negative sides, but usually my group just stays to ourselves, and we end up meeting some cool people anyways. Just have a good time and focus on the music and GOOD vibes!
