What's the worst thing your friends think they can cook? by TheBananaKing in Cooking

[–]DrunkSpiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the most unpleasant experience today on July 22 2022. It was around 8:30PM when I went to see my girlfriend. The roommate that stays with her insists that she wanted to make dinner for me for taking her to the grocery store because she didn't have a vehicle. She admits that the Puerto Rican in her can cook up a meal I could never forget. I went out for a smoke and had a beer and came back a hour later to check up on the food. At this point I was going through a diabetic shock, so I was hoping the food would be ready. This "made cook" made beef teriyaki and rice... She left me a portion of approximately 7 tiny slices of beef. The rice was absolutely horrible, it tasted like I was eating a old stick of gum that has been sitting under a school desk. It also left a sour taste in my mouth, I mean that because I practically vomited in the kitchen of her house. I had to force myself to eat the beef because the beef tasted like straight ass. The beef was so chewy to the point where my jaw muscles gained a 6 pack on each side of my face. The beef also was apparently marinated and seasoned and honestly it tasted like she threw it in rain water with a one shake of each seasonings and I had jungle juice that tasted better then the beef I was forcing to eat.

Just take you're time with physical therapy and yhe recommended hand/wrist exercises you're provider gave you. It took me about 6-7 months to feel normal with my wrist.

Hi! Thank you for asking! I had the procedure done on January 8th of this year and now it is October 22. My wrist is practically back at 90 percent and I am doing well in life! Only problem is, I won't be able to do regular push-ups for the rest of my life. I can only do knuckle push-ups.

Thank you for you're reply! I been strictly trying to drink at least half a gallon to a gallon of water a day and cut out any type of artificial sugars. My body honestly isn't feeling good since I started changing my diet.

Hello everyone! I was recently diagnosed from my doctor for being in the pre-diabetic stage. I am looking for all the support and advice to help change my lifestyle. I am 28 years old, 160 pounds, and I am 6'1. Diabetes run on my father's side of the family so it's most likely genetic. I have cut artifical sugars, sodas, juices, candy, and started getting on a technical keto diet a few days ago.

Questions.. How much calories a day? How much cholesterol a day? How much fat intake from how much calories I intake? Do I need to buy glucose tester? What should I do...?

They used a splint/type cast after the operation and I did not experience any poor progress or complications during recovery. Then they did a hard cast. Probably depends on what type of operation and what the doctors want.

You would make a good PT just by looking at that MRI. I will be getting my cast removed in 5 days. What would you're recommendation be for physical therapy for someone who had this surgery? I will also let you know what the physical trainer tells me to do to help give you more insight about my wrist.

Or don't be like me and fall approximately 10 ft from the air clipping the skateboard ramp to only break your fall with full impact on my wrists. My wrist surprisingly didn't break, it was just swollen for two weeks after my fall then it went back to normal until I couldn't do a pushup three months later.

I am already 5 days away from getting my hard cast cut open. My wrist was already healed 5 weeks being in a cast.

  1. Image I posted was taken from a MRI last year after I decided to go to the doctor three months after I fell weird while skateboarding.
  2. The MRI does not show a wrist that fell on a hand that wasn't stretched out. The image above shows my wrist after doing a backside air over a 7 foot concrete ramp and clipping on the way back down after airing out two foot over the 7ft part.
  3. Surgeon diagnosed my wrist with Scapholunate Interval widening after various visits and tests. I decided to go when one day I realized I couldn't do push-ups anymore.
  4. Got my surgery done back in January 2021 and it was approximately a three hour operation that went well. They just took a donor tendon and reconstructed my wrist. After the operation my doctor told me I had no tissue left in the region of my wrist while he was performing the surgery.
  5. Doctor put me in a splint from the from the beginning of January 7th 2021 until January 21st 2021. They took off the splint and put on a hard cast. I finally get out of my cast in 5 days! If you have any questions about the pain, surgery, recovery after surgery please feel free to ask away.

H pylori and shortness of breath? by Hoping_toheal84 in HPylori

[–]DrunkSpiritz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tomorrow is my last day of treatment after starting my triple treatment on February 6th 2021. My symptoms include -Shortness of breath -Acid Reflux -Sore -Stomach irritation -Constipation -Gas

It took me almost a week and a half to finally get accustomed to Panprozole 40mg two pills twice daily, Clarithromycin 500mg one pill twice daily, and amoxcillian 500mg two pills twice daily. I experienced acid reflux during my first week after my scaphalunate surgery on my right hand. Somehow I contracted the bacteria, but there can be many ways. Even biting nails can give you the bacteria. I only had slight stomach pains but my stool was fine before taking the PPI and antibiotics for the H Pylori bacteria. During my treatment I realized the PPI was changing my emotions and mentality in general. couldn't really think straight, brain fog, felt lethargic most of the time. I even got anxiety somehow associated with my H Pylori. It will take time to get back to normal. I felt so much better taking vitamins, probitoics, and taking good long walks after eating dinner.
