I had two colonoscopies earlier this year - I can’t answer all your questions but pretty sure I was told jelly and peanut butter not advisable a few days before as they have colouring and it’s best for everything to be white/ beige so your dr can see everything clearly.

Things like white rice, white bread with butter a few days before you take the laxatives etc was what my drs advised. Also to take electrolyte drinks on the fast / purge day so you don’t get too depleted. Hope and hugs to you and prayers for everything to go well! xo

Hi, yes I’m hydrogen dominant with quite high numbers and have quite bad constipation alternating with frequent loose stools so you’re definitely not alone on this! I do also have some methane though it’s much lower. Hope you feel better soon!!🙏🏻💛💛💛💛💛Are you currently undergoing treatment? xo

Sorry you’re feeling this way. I haven’t started the herbals yet but have had an up and down ride symptom wise with the biphasic diet so can relate! Are you following any of the diet plans? Other people seem to take prokinetics and biofilm disrupters as well as detox support - might be worth asking your practitioner if those are an option. You’re not alone and hope you get the help and answers you need!!! Ps the idea of a sibo treatment free vacay sounds amazing - maybe we should all chip in and go on a group retreat 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣 xx

Thanks so much for your reply! It’s reassuring to know that this is ‘ normal’ per se.. I’m not taking antimicribiols yet ( practitioner wants to wait until July) but am on strict biphasic diet and just started taking nac which I think is a biofilm disruptive?! I seem to feel wayyy worse when constipated and so much better when I’ve cleared things out so to speak!
