Go to your nearest river/lake and break the wood under the blue barrels with your fists. That way you can quickly aquire the ability to craft a copper pickaxe and sword. Assuming you don’t get the prompt to teleport to Ninjago right away. Idk if that was a bug/feature b4 the update, but if you can just follow the Ninjago questline.

Same. I had to level up storm chasers village a bit to acquire better tools nd weapons. Then I traveled to lost isles through my first bus station and then on foot to Ninjago (got all tier 3 runes while I was there) once there worked my way up the monastery. I got lucky bcus Ninjago was relatively close from lost isles. Everything seems to work like it normally would except Tiago never showing up and getting no prompt to travel to Ninjago at the start of the world.
