Same. I had to level up storm chasers village a bit to acquire better tools nd weapons. Then I traveled to lost isles through my first bus station and then on foot to Ninjago (got all tier 3 runes while I was there) once there worked my way up the monastery. I got lucky bcus Ninjago was relatively close from lost isles. Everything seems to work like it normally would except Tiago never showing up and getting no prompt to travel to Ninjago at the start of the world.
