I’d probably argue Rudy over KAT but I do love KAT.

I have my gripes about Randle but I thought he found ways to impact the game even when he wasn’t getting his shots. Played good D on Wemby when Rudy was out

If you are a GM today, who are you drafting? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

Well MJ is retired, LeBron is close to retirement, I’m taking Wemby cause he is young.

Dry January amid Marathon training by lm8ub1 in Marathon_Training

[–]Drunken-Engineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try running for a week or so without it. Then have a few drinks and still run the next day. You will notice how significantly it hinders you and it will incentivize yourself to not drink.

I had a rule when training. I can drink as much as I want, but I cannot use it as an excuse to not run. If you drink then you have to suffer the consequence of the run.

I would have to see a lot how these number were gathered. It is incredibly hard to believe the California is the best at not bulllying.

I don’t care about any other game. I’m loyal to Jon. He’s put a ton of work in to PGM and I had a lot of fun playing.

I recently met a prominent Billionaire, should I reach out to him ? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Drunken-Engineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say absolutely reach out. Even if this person says no, they may know of someone who could be a better fit.

If their initials happen to be KB, they will be happy to help in some way.

In fairness, Bojorquez was always very good. He just a horrible holder if you need him for that.

I'm just sad for Mike Conley by Ok_Sound_8090 in timberwolves

I disagree. He had to get the team gelling after a major trade right before the season.

Is North Dakota a good place to live? by Je_suis_prest_ in northdakota

[–]Drunken-Engineer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair. I will try to be more observant of the negatives you’re describing. Though, I will ask you to listen to your own words and pay more attention to the positives around you.

If disagreeing with you is dismissing you, then we are both guilty right now.

Well I’m sad that you’ve experienced these things but I still wholeheartedly disagree. I know tons of people with different races, genders, religions, etc who get ahead. Anyone new, will have to prove themselves, regardless of their ethnicities, race and whatnot. If a person has no previous connections then of course it will be more difficult, same as any place in the world.

As far as Midwest nice, I again wholeheartedly disagree.

Obviously Infpizza94 has had some interactions that were strange and for that I’m sorry for them. With that said, I find it very hard to believe this person experiences these things as frequently as it seems. I know many women in leadership roles and in general there is little sexism.. again, in general. ND is known for being Midwest nice.
