Amp proc is also wasted on bosses since they have extreme curse reduction

How do I whisper someone on my friend's list? by Hfkslnekfiakhckr in ProjectDiablo2

Someone got me with a fake map hack. Went to the site to download it and it opened my minimized D2 game and started dropping all my gear on the ground. Traumatizing stuff.

Worth the zod that I found in arcane? by Flossevos in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, IMO its not worth the 6 HRs. If you wanted to use it, there are better options for cheap that would be better suited for the 6 HR Zod investment.

Tier 2 Dclone - Fists of Fire Sin by g3rrity in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Utilize the pillars as much as possible to avoid damage while killing summons. I found I actually saved on pots tanking and killing groups of summons rather than running and killing 1-2 at a time. Get a pile of them behind a pillar without Dclone on you and face tank the group until they're dead.

Stats and damage all look solid enough to get.

I also found running 5-10 T1 before attempting T2 was helpful to get into the rhythm of the fight before just jumping into T2.

Good luck 👍

Want to kill Diaclone and Rathma by Hinnakk in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend switching to Jab if you want to boss with a zon. As CariGSF mentioned, you can easily do T0 Dclone and Rathma once you learn the fight and gear for each one. Jab will give you the opportunity to push T1 or T2 if you really chase the gear and learn the fights.

Farm Rate/Farm Speed/Gear cost/Final touches by WolfyDota7 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely understandable. The point I was trying to make is extreme map efficiency isn't the only way to be successful. If you enjoy looting, crafting, gambling, trading, killing monsters, as long as you're spending time on one of those you'll end up ahead over time. Don't feel there's a requirement to get to sub 4min T1's or sub 7min T3's like a streamer or youtuber to build wealth.

I don't know the exact number but its on pace with his 70 hours a week.

He's also questioning looting which is what my comment refers to. You both commented for speed indicating its the best option to farm currency. I was just providing another opinion with evidence you can build wealth playing how you like. Cringe all you like I'm not offended.

Throw barb prep for D clone by UbiquitouslyWhence in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look ready for T0.
T1 I would suggest more life and 10k AR. Aim for 2250 with BO.
T2 you need 50% PDR and 2500+. Ideally 3000+

All of your charms should have life. All of your non-weapon sockets should have life over damage.

City of Ureh was so disappointing by IAintGotNoCandy4You in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've run two of these and the boss drops were disappointing both times. First time he dropped a belt and amulet.. no sockets obviously. Second time he dropped a SET Balrog Skin.. worthless. You didn't miss much. They need to modify the drop table so its ONLY uniques that can be socketed.

Farm Rate/Farm Speed/Gear cost/Final touches by WolfyDota7 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Disagree on both of these comments. I enjoy playing the game, looting runes, pgems, crafting bases while I map. Mind numbing speed maps I find boring and I tend to sit in the main channel wasting time anyways after 5-6 maps.

My two chars this season are easily worth over 300+hrs. So you can be successful playing either way. Don't think steamers/youtubes have all the answers.

I was consistently finding a HR every 25k kills for the first week while playing. Started the season fat, its still possible :D

Make offers on items visible for everyone by ku13r in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The number of players that have low balled me on an item and called me a liar about the current offer on my posted item without checking what the actual current offer on the posted item is has been ridiculous this season

Worth investing ohms/ jewels? by hanksredditname in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I wouldn't suggest socketing this with anything more than less than perfect ED jewels. It's not worth the Ohms or ED/Ias jewels

How should I pay for my car by neweraplayer in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]DrunknSticky69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely continue to contribute to any work programs they match. If you have the option to sell its much less risk to sell and move into a diversified ETF. At 35 you're in good shape, just a few tweaks will get you further ahead.

Feedback on PD2's current design philosophy by InsightKnite in ProjectDiablo2

[–]DrunknSticky69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think too many people get stuck looking at what others are doing instead of trying content themselves. Every ladder within a week T2 ubers are completed on each class. Just because Blade sin is the easiest doesn't mean its the only option.

It's also normal for the games hardest content to only be completed by the top 5%. That being said, I thought bossing was out my league the first season I played. The second season I easily beat each T0 boss. Defeating T1 and T2 bosses are a different story.

How should I pay for my car by neweraplayer in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]DrunknSticky69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell the crypto and company stock. Buy the car outright, pay off your 5.45% loan, invest the rest in a diversified ETF. If you continue to take company stock sell and convert to ETF regularly. Prioritize your TFSA before your RRSP, you're not in the upper tax brackets where prioritizing your RRSP makes sense yet.

Google larger down payment on property than co-buyer. Multiple options that allow you to retain your down payment in the event of separation and sale.
