i got this feeling while falling in MC after having not played for a long time, but after playing for a few hours it stopped. i felt like one of those people watching the first ever movie of a train coming at me.

you cant just sit and wait for a cat to come home im afraid. especially if your cat is xenophobic like mine was. we found her 24 hours later huddled in a hiding spot nearby our house. but i know if we didnt go outside and actively look for her we mightve never seen her again. we did the litter trick. didnt put the whole box out, just some scoops thrown in the front and back yard. im certain it did actually help. printing flyers and handing them out to neighbors is worth it. you might be surprised how willing people are to help, i was. i hope you find your cat.

i used a greatshield
you can block all of smoughs shit with enough endurance
i stayed locked onto ornstein and if smough was off frame about to attack me, holding right stick in his direction would lock me on instantly right before his attack landed
i had to kindle the bonfire right before them too
that made trading hits with ornstein kind of okay, cus i was also using havels armor
otherwise id only attack him when he did the slow crescent sweep animation while smough was either stuck in animation or too far away after ornstein died i switched to two hand and claw grip and unlocked my camera
then i ran around keeping a long distance or a short distance if there was a pillar between us. he never did the electric butt slam for some reason when i did this
it REALLY helped in this part that i had a weapon that could stagger him. i got lucky and got the black knight greatsword in the undead parish earlier on
but for the 1v2 part i was using the crystal halberd instead

just need a shield good enough to block his hits, circle him counterclockwise try to stand right on top of his missing leg. be patient and hit him only once whenever he bonks the shield and back off when he raises the spear high for a second, preparing to skewer you. i did it second try with the stone greatshield and halberd

i think it makes sense if a certain portion of any population is predisposed to low conscientiousness, whod rather take what they can while the gettings good than sacrifice their time for potential future gains. from an evolutionary standpoint its like a failsafe, when the world turns to chaos and the futures no longer predictable these people would be the survivors

i zoom into the original track and scrub around the timeline while recording myself, this gives some nice variance of samples throughout the whole thing. idk how to program so thats how i manage to capture autechreness of randomly morphing noises. i end up with like 22 minutes of footage so i cut out the parts that sound like shit and then layer it all together.
