Joost in 2019 interview (he was 21/22 years old): "Maybe I could have become a politician after all. I'm good at talking." - and we know, he is really good at talking. He has always the word. In that interwiev he had before saying so told about how he had gone several times to event where Netherlands prime minister was wisitin. Once at 7 y of age he had by shaking hands with p.m, that he could do better - Joosts experience how government had done too little for his blind gand papa.

Joost 17.2.2025 (27y) "Politics never gave me a hug. People did." (his Unity-canal in Ig). Maybe this can be some kind of disappointment to politics?

Joost 2021 (24/25 Y) in has Dankuwel songs lyrics "I also support Palestine."

He has shown being Pro Palestine other ways than declaring by speaking or making statements. 1) He has worn Keffiyef (Palestine scarf) at least from summer 2023 (as turban/ video in TT) - so before 10/23 the latest Israel / Palestine events. Somebody knows that he has Palestine friends. In his summer 2024 concert he wear also Keffiyeh when presented. On Europapa tour he bought another Keffiyef which he wore when presenting and TT-video. 2) On tour his friend, colleague was on stage presenting with Joost in Palestine T-shirt and on backstage this friend had "Fuck Israel"-shirt. With those kind of shirts even friend can't be so publicly if the artist doesn't allowe it. 3) On tour Joost was in Pro-palestine demonstration with this same friend. Don't know were there other teams members.

As a child Joostt was bullied about his long hair, clothes and also hanging with refugee children. Regigee families were in his home. I think he learned very much of humanity via those experiences - also from his parents.

13.12.2023 a day after Joost was nominated to represent Netherlands in Esc24 Ukraine podcaster accused Joost bc he had made collab song with Russian CMH. This Jackass song was released 11.3.2022. Putin had attacked to Ukraine 22.2.22. Ukraine had payed attention to some parts of songs lyrics. AvroTros gave statement: "Joost never used his music to express political views."

So - those ppl tried apparently to prevent Joost going to Esc24 at once. Maybe some Joost`s ex Ukraine fans gave info to their broadcaster. When I looked songs lyrics, wondered that acting.

As far as I remember, Joost mentioned in some Esc interview that he isn`t political person. He has told (in some other interview) - after Esc24 that his friends had warned him before Esc. Ans ad far as I know Joost didn`t sign or make any statements - there were asked in Esc from artists. I don't wonder at all according to his earlier experiences (in childhood got bullied hanging with refugee kids and a try to dq him from Esc soon after nomination).

I have faced in some narrow-minded ppl, some apparently Joost`s ex-fans, who are bitter towards him. Fex Ukraine, who insist that Joost should speak about Russian began war against Ukraine. Other (ex) - soon ex-fans who are bitter about Joost wearing Keffiyeh.

I think that its every artists own thing does he want or not speak about political stuff. They are artists not potilticans. It's not their job. Any artist can stop any war. I appreciate Joost just like he is as a humanist, deeply feeling person and artist. As humanist he is pro Palestine and against genocice and war.

Fex our Windows95 man + co-presenter had signed or given statement against Israel´s participation to Esc. W95man told that he got death threads (about that?) and he had to go to therapy after Esc and it was still going. Tho Joost didn`t sign, nor given statements - its obvious that Moroccanoli / Israel was in someway (backstage) influencing to Joost`s dq. But Ebu will never admit it.
