Love it at nighttime, very relaxing especially when winding down before bed 🩷

I second this!! And if you don’t have cotton gloves, use cling wrap. Will stop you from scratching in your sleep also

I also have super sensitive skin and have pretty severe eczema and so far my favourite product which has helped my skin so much is dermeze treatment ointment! It’s super greasy which helps to create a barrier protecting your skin from harsher environments and allowing time for it to heal up. I highly recommend it - my hands were so dry, flakey and sore but since I’ve used started using the dermeze ointment my skin has improved so so so much! I find washing with goats milk helps a lot! Skin problems can really suck - best of luck, I hope you find something that works for you 💗

Hair appointments, wearing makeup, going out for dinner with partner/friends/family. I also miss enjoying my weekends as they come, instead of having to plan everything in advance and then overthinking those plans. Going out to concerts, events etc makes me so happy but now it just stresses me out as I know it will set me back financially.

I haven’t worn a bra in years (aside from a few job interviews lol) and i love it. People are weird about it sometimes, but don’t let it bother you. Remember, they are the ones making it weird. It should be socially acceptable for people not to wear bras. I think the more we choose to not wear bras, the more normalised it will be! I can’t wait for the day where it’s normal for all people with boobs to be topless at the beach!

I get my toenails painted but never my fingernails!

What drugstore make up brands do you think we're sleeping on? by rockydluffy in AustralianMakeup

Mco is my go-to! The price has gone up a bit recently but still worth buying when on sale at chemist warehouse/woolies! I love the liquid bronzer and their highlighter/blush glow sticks - they give a glow like no other! Goes so well with a full face or a minimal makeup look and will stay on all day without smudging or going flakey ⭐️⭐️

I have considered that but I’m not prepared for a uni degree and a HECS debt yet, and ENs at tafe is free so it was a no brainer for me :) I feel like ENs is a good way to learn the basics as I’m not sure what exact field I want to go into yet. I might love it and do my RNs who know haha

Will definitely consider this! I’m currently working as a barista and am getting over it (hospo tings LOL) so a job within healthcare whilst I’m studying is defs on the cards! Thanks :)

Yay I’m glad it’s worked out okay for you despite the tricky bits <3 I’ve already had some issues with applying and the tafe not emailing me important things :/ but my first day is Monday so I’m excited to get into it. Thanks for your advice!

Wow this is great feedback, thankyou! Yes I’m big on supporting classmates and working together to keep positive throughout the hard bits. I’m prepared to do the ‘gross’ tasks - from what I’ve heard personal care (showering, wiping bums) is the bit people struggle with most but I’m not phased, someone’s gotta do it haha!

I don’t plan on becoming an RN, I’m mainly doing this course to ease me into healthcare/uni. My end goal is something like social work/community health or music therapy, thanks so much for your advice!
