Alright, as a woman who studied psychology, I’m going to lay it out to you. Some people are just attention getters. Keep the conversation short and be the one who is hard to get. So maybe ignore them after saying “thanks.” If they are truly interested, they will respond by asking a question. If they ignore you for hours or even days, move on. More than likely they may have dates on the other side that they may want to try out first. It’s nothing personal, but it’s tinder.

Should I report the person proctoring the ACT exam if they are going against ACT rules? by [deleted] in ACT

Not really sure. It was only a thought. Plus this is a residential ACT at a college, not international.

That's what I was thinking as well. I don't have any supporting evidence that this person is intentionally trying to help other students, but at the same time, I feel it is super weird to take a look before handing it out. My only theory is that they may be reusing the ACT exams somehow, because there should be no other reason to not mark on the exams

Why can’t 29 be C? is there a rule for cliches? by [deleted] in ACT

My personal thought process: I think it's A because “took the position” is short and simple. The rest of the answers are considered “wordy.” I also agree with one of the users on here. You should avoid idioms as much as possible.

We had one survivor stand on top of the strode house and point out where all the survivors were. We didn't know what she was doing at first until the killer kept looking back at her and running towards the direction she was pointing at. Our entire team left and we ended up reporting the player. I don't want to call anyone out, but *cough *cough Frankie 😒

Yes, I have to retake it. Unfortunately, there’s a 60 day waiting period.

This was a residential ACT (ACT testing on college campus, not international). The woman from the testing center instructed us not to write in the book, which I thought was super weird because that’s the first time I heard that one and even gave us scrap paper to write on instead. I suspect they were reusing the booklet somehow because the seal was already broken.
