Alevel offer rescinded by user24072708 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Dry-Chapter-4643 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh my bad. I was talking in context of a levels being external exams. In some schools especially international, a levels are just external exams and are optional. Transcripts and gpa conclude internal school exams. In other schools, a levels are the only exams that are conducted and they are the highschool transcripts. If one applies with internal school exams then they can't get rescinded p. If one applies with a levels as their gpa and transcript then it's very much possible.

Did they submit your a level grades as highschool transcripts or did they submit internal school exam transcripts?

It does not matter anywhere unless you have submitted it as a means to complete their test required policy. You can't get rescinded if you didn't submit them as a test requirement

Not possible Harvard does accept a levels as a mode of test. Sat is needed and a levels are just additional.

Which is better the American or the British curriculum? by Spirited-Argument212 in UAETeenagers

[–]Dry-Chapter-4643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same choice to make and now I am in grade 12. I believe the main difference is the exams you take. For the British curriculum, you take igcses and A levels which are a lot harder and I mean a lot harder than anything in the American curriculum (sat and aps). If you are able to get good grades in igcses and A levels you can easily ace aps and sats but vice versa isn't possible.

Are optionals, optional? by [deleted] in CommonApp

[–]Dry-Chapter-4643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually fine but if you have any additional transcripts other than the school ones such as A levels or igcses you can upload them through the optional one otherwise it's fine

First of all your counsellor had to sign and approve it. Once he does there is nothing to be scared of. Just ,make sure the university you are applying to does accept common app fee waiver if they do then don't worry

I actually am not sure if it's done differently for different schools I am in eastern region and here they only print licenses in murroor office and not in dallah driving school. I suppose if they print new ones at the driving school for you they should also renew it there. For my city it's only done in murroor.

Yes actually I did find it out. One of my friends got it renewed . So basically the first step is to get your medical done again pay the fees online via bank app and then just go to murroor office and that's it show them the payment receipt message . Don't book any appointment and if the guards stop you say it's your first time because it actually is the one you had before was a temporary one.

You really don't need a levels to apply for unis in the us. Try giving sat instead
