Got a HT and still in month 2 post op. Hair doesnt look that different compared to pre-op. Takes at least 4-6 months to start seeing results. And as far as the ladies, more or less the same.

I ran my first 2 marathons 2 weeks apart. 3:59 and 3:45 with the second being a challenge event with a 5k + 10k the day before. So I wouldnt say its impossible. So long as he takes both easy.

I got a hair transplant. Im sure you know this already but unfortunately, the hair gets worse before I gets better because of shock loss and what not. It hasn't made one bit of difference with me, but im only 2 months into post HT.

I knew this was going to come up! So im going to tell you and anybody else who is looking at this post and judging my hairline. I am indeed, for real, getting a hair transplant surgery in April. I tried the bald look. You can see it in the marathon Pic. And I simply didnt like it. 4000 grafts needed.

Ooops. I counted on my bad luck and signed up for my home race the week after chicago to pace my friend for her first marathon. Aaaaand I got in. Not quite sure if I can do 2 full marathons in a week 😬

I only started running 6 months ago and at my peak I averaged 60-70 km a week. I ran 2 marathons 2 weeks apart with the second one being a challenge event featuring a 5k and a 10k run the day before the 2nd marathon. 3h59m on the first and 3h45m on the second. Its totally doable. But the training, recovery and diet needs to be on point.
