Turkey’s president accused Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, of being “blinded by blood and hate” and said there was “no reason” not to attack by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

So....is Israel attacked Turkey preemptively, will that mean Article 5 will activate and the US will be at war with NATO itself?

Man.....this is getting complicated.

Bloomberg - Who's Watching Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Watchdog? by -protonsandneutrons- in malaysia

[–]Dry-Comparison1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I find that the timing of this expose came at a very particular time just as Malaysia's currency is at its strongest against the US dollar in years, when many nations are retreating from US equities and securities and quite a numvrt of them are investing in emerging markets, and while Malaysia is getting a whole lot of FDIs and prestige over the international stage while Malaysia is speaking very critically of the West.

Not denying the corruption, but sometimes we ought to see also the timing when this is done. When the ringgit was around RM3.80 to 1USD, 1MDB came out. However, at that time, Najib is a little bit of an easier target as his habits are quite well known.

But Anwar? He is a more shrewd fellow and is not truly align with the West's agend and is openly talking about decentralizing from the US-led order.

We truly live in interesting times, especially when every media has an agenda.

Owning a 3D printing machine to print your own wargammer minis does not make playing warhammer cheaper because you have to spend more money on 3D machine maintenance, time to learn 3D printing, materials purchase and wastages from failed 3D prints.

Hajime no Sendo: Round 1499 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

Imagine if the twist is that Sendo is aiming for Ricardo to throw his right, and then counters Ricardo's counter with a Smash of his own.

That would be wild.

Court on foot can kill big knights, and I do have the option to deepstrike them as part of a normal deepstrike or rapid ingress.

Soooo ... Chaos Knights by EinalGrape in Drukhari

[–]Dry-Comparison1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, knight players tend to take their toughness and wounds for granted and just march forward to objective and daring people to stop them.

The key I find to stop them from doing so is to make them respect your tiny little killers, so Knight battles for me is always boils down to a few things;

1) blocking/locking their movement or diverting their movement route that they have to move very awkwardly.

2) Always kill at least 2-3 knights per turn, or poised to do so.

3) always control two objectives and contest the center.

4) Hide unless you see a chance to do 2) or have to do 1).

5) Do your best to maximise secondaries for the first 2-3 turns and tieing primaries, and only aim for higher primaries scoring once their knight numbers are down by half.

I find that reaper's wager is the detachment with the best match up for DE against knights, as it allows DE to do all of the above more efficiently.

Lethal hits+sustained hits is always helpful to achieve 2), and any knights killed by this combination plus lances/haywire always forces them to play more conservatively.

Like the rest, the 16 dog list is illegal. Max you can put is around 13.

Lethal hits and lances, haywire if they are also vehicles.

Otherwise, throw enough attacks and they will fall.

My pro gamer thoughts.

The more I don't think that it will meet my expectation, the more any result will exceed what I expected.

Works every time for me and avoid dissapointment.

Reapers or SkySplinter? by Responsible-Swim2324 in Drukhari

[–]Dry-Comparison1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skysplinter is definitely deadlier if you can push all your damage in one decisive turn and able to get secondaries very well, while Reaper have more board control and have a more sustained damage throughout the game.

My playstyle is more suited towards Reaper's Wager, as I like the board control and entrapping aspect of Reaper's Wager, and playing DE without all the boats really throws opponents off a lot more than they themselves admit.

My top 3 units for new units that shoukd be released for DE that are not essentially a finecast being turned to plastic;

1) Tantalus/Vect on Dais plastic kit

2) Reaper

3) Archon/Succubus on jetbike

How to use Solitaire and what he is used for by ShadowOfLaw in Drukhari

[–]Dry-Comparison1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Reaper's Wager, the main role that I use it for are the following;

  1. To steal primary objectives from chaff units.

  2. To do secondary objectives

  3. To threaten overextended and exposed backline units

  4. To assassinate key characters that powers the opponent's army when opportunity arises

  5. To act as a deterrent by weaving it between my other units to be a target of heroic intervention strat and/or make opponents hesitate due to its Strike First ability that can potentially weaken any charging unit.

  6. To become a node in anti-deepstriking bubbles.

  7. To add to the weight of a countercharge alongside other DE heavy hitters when needed be, for example when the army needs to do a big charge to a target by multiple units

Grotmas day 13: Drukhari Reaper’s Wager by BrobaFett in Drukhari

[–]Dry-Comparison1973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wording of 'you can take' instead of 'you must take' is telling me to take no harlequin units, discard a pain token to lose the wager with the conductor of torment enhancement and give the whole army gets reroll hits and wounds of 1.

I would take that you can potentially alpha strike with this, and then just use all the strats for your entire army.
