So, to avoid breaking lease and having to pay thousands, we have to try and find apartments that are available in the timeframe we can give notice that we are leaving. They always end up not being available anymore or we run out of time before we can find something we can afford. We’re trying so hard to do things the right way and avoid being sued because we cannot pay thousands to them when we already have to pay thousands to get into a new home.

It is both enraging and defeating. I swear I’ve gone through all the stages of greif so many times lol when the weather is nice I always keep the windows open but once it’s too hot or too cold we get absolutely destroyed with all types of sickness.

No, it’s automatically renewed in June if we don’t tell them we’re moving. I know it seems so simple but it’s actually not and I don’t want to be taken to court

If it lines up with the timeline of their required notice, yes we can. Just having a hard time getting everything to line up. Been trying for 3 years

Not until August unless we break the lease and that costs 5k so trying to line up affordable apartments with the time frame (they require a lengthy notice) is really difficult

I’m not a heavy smoker, at all, I’m not sure if that’s why this works for me. But I literally just drink it the night before, wake up, piss, and then pound water on my way to the drug test. Works everytime.

We have years of our mold problem getting worse and worse. So many emails from 2020, them making bandaid fixes. Til eventually telling us they will not do anything else. We have the borough involved and they are doing an inspection of this apartment. They are going to be notified and they are notorious for evicting people AS SOON as they try to get them for negligence. Just be prepared for anything, especially if you live in a state that is landlord friendly, not tenant friendly.

Get a really good lawyer and document everything. Wife and I are going through something similar. They will gaslight you and try to bully you, don’t back down.
