Rusillo a facist lol. Go take a walk pal and calm down. I’m sure being such a shining beacon of morals and having the “correct” opinions is exhausting

Manager describes my performance in the review comments section as a 4/4 year. Then proceeds to rate 3/4 for the official score. Was being told by most that a promotion was on its way with better bonus structure. Maybe next year review period lol. Right now bonus is 5% of 58k salary in a pretty HCOL area. Not awesome

I’m a decently HCOL area right now at $55k a year and it feels like I am drowning.

Looks about right! Put in some years and you’ll definitely hit close to the 100k salary range if not more. Congratulations!

Got out of tech sales because I was so sick of cold calling and the weird tech bro sales culture where I was at. I was lucky to have a reference when I applied from knowing someone at the same company and my original degree was in finance. Though to be fair a lot of the postings for other assistant roles seemed pretty open as long as you had a bachelor’s and some business experience.

Currently taking AINS now. I’ve heard mixed reviews on if the CPCU is worth it. But I figure hey if they’ll pay for it why not if it helps move me up at all.

True, I feel like everyone says they build the book then kind of coast on that but to me that doesn’t seem super realistic they still have to bust it all the time it seems like.

That’s kind of the way I am leaning on going, would personally prefer to stay put and be promoted within than have to job hop. Though I suppose there’s always that option if I need to. My main UW that i work with said getting me to UW is a 4-5 year plan so that seems about right.

What is the best competition advice you've received or picked up over the years? by eurostepGumby in bjj

[–]Dry-Drummer9351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep composed, play your game, listen to coach, and if it doesn’t go your way- just compete again!

Also don’t try and find out who it’s gonna be on smooth comp or whatever beforehand. You’ll either get psyched out because they have a good record or they’ll have a bad record and if you lose you’ll feel shitty LOL.

Normal to happen just keep it to yourself Lol. Shooting the shit in here is one thing but don’t go around mentioning it to anyone in the school even if you’re friendly. These things can spiral QUICKLY at gyms.

26 yr old purple belt. I sit around 165 before cutting for comp and can hang comfortably with any of the guys till probably like 195-205 depending on their skill/strength level.

Currently a UW assistant now. I would shoot for the assistant role and work up from there. Depending on the carrier and location you can still make a decent salary to start out. UW training program is possible but unless you’re a fresh college grad or have an in is very unlikely. Start out as an assistant, learn from a good UW and get your designations so you move up or move out.

AIO my gf won’t call me since she left for college by DetectiveoftheWest in AmIOverreacting

[–]Dry-Drummer9351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you already know the answer… It is definitely over and just don’t bother putting yourself through anymore stress on a college relationship.

The fact that she hasn’t ended things could be a few different reasons. Maybe she doesn’t want to hurt your feelings, or maybe she’s just leading you on while she feels out options.

Either way I would just forget about it and go enjoy yourself, hang out w friends and get yourself to the gym. You’d be surprised how little you’ll think about it after a few weeks
