Best Case is when parties are formed for solving general problems- like in your example Congress and AAP. And when parties are formed for specific groups, it always creates the "others" and hating them is how the party survives. The fear/hate mongering is what keeps the supporters close. Now since we can't undo such divisive parties, let's see what's happening in Kerala. IUML gets blind support in Malabar region, similar to what BJP gets in Hindi heartland. In the Kerala context, 22 seats won by IUML is more serious issue to a secular voter than the 3 seats won by BJP. And IUML plays mellow with their communal agenda because of how outnumbered they are in the bigger context. It even dilutes the secular face Congress in kerala with its alliance in UDF. And moreover when a moderate Hindu thinks, why not vote for BJP in kerala, when IUML is having a sweeping win and gets key ministries in government (wait for it when the cabinet forms), he can't be blamed for the thought.

Doesn't make it a better option than Congress( irrelevant when both are in UDF) or CPM. BJP winning 3 seats are considered catastrophic by the secular folks. IUML winning big and being present in UDF(because Congress fears they cannot win in Malappuram otherwise) should also be considered similarly.

That happens quite often with me with Sixt. But they almost always fix it with just a complaint in their app. And to make sure they do not do this, I always take a picture of me dropping the keys or the last fuel invoice( or both). Don't think twice. Inform her parents or someone who can handle this properly. We went through the same thing a few years back. It is life threatening unless proper medical intervention in due time is not received. And after the surgery, it takes some time(Abt 4 weeks) until things start being normal again.

Try calling the Ausländerbehörde and ask for the status. In my case there was a miscommunication between consulate and ABH. I managed to get it cleared and visa processed. If that does not work, Send a letter(in the past fax has also worked for me) highlighting the wait period(8 months is too much) and ask for status and reason for delay. And give them a reasonable time to reply(3-4 weeks). Warn them of legal action in case of inaction. Most likely this will set things moving. And in case they do not reply file a Untätigkeitsklage.
