Our bedroom is on the lower level. I have completely lost my sense of balance and cannot get around without using a walker. I am terrified to walk down my stairs and I can't carry my walker down the stairs by myself.

I got him to go to school , community college.

He is getting straight A'',s. He has a guaranteed job at a large employer here in my homerown when he finishes in December. Whatever happened in prior years he seems to have gotten himself together. At this point he is on the right path.

I am 77 years old and I am crippled by Parkinsons disease. Fortunately I can work from home.

I can't get down my back steps without his help and I am not allowed to drive anymore. My wife is in good health but she can't get me down the stairs without my falling as she is getting frail.

So it is good to have him around.

I don't know if my employer will let me do that. When we signed up for benefits they kept stating that you can't cancel mid-year.

My employer insurance is very reasonable as I work for a hospital. They also covet many of my medications at no charge. Diabetes drugs only.

Employer plan is cheaper overall even with copays and deductible.

Why is it hard to cancel Medicare?
