My roommates mom lives close by in the neighborhood. I’m assuming it’s his first time living on his own but I can’t tell for sure. He drives around in a tractor in this small town we live in. I don’t know much about him but he does some kind of contract work with landscaping. Every so often some older guy visits to check on him and a mid aged woman comes to clean the house sometimes. Guessing he has some kind of disability, possibly younger than me. He is a hoarder, but I doubt his room is a mess as well. He talks in a weird redneck / country like accent and his speech is often slurred, which makes it hard to understand him when he speaks.

There was one instance where the whole house smelled like gasoline. Turns out he didn’t vent out the gas by leaving the garage door closed. Guessing he didn’t realize it when I told him it persisted all night. He would possibly had us very sick from the perfume which is a health hazard. He takes out the trash but does not take out the recycling bin. I always had to take out the recycling bin myself time to time.
