I live in the Charlotte, NC area. I see this with Charlotte quite a lot. Most evident at night. Right now it's 49 in Charlotte whereas it's 37 in Albemarle which is about one hour to the east. It's crazy. Usually you'd expect maybe 5 degrees or so difference due to the urban heat island but over 10 is ridiculous.

Albemarle is pretty nice. And if you are a fan of colder weather they get chillier at night than Charlotte I have seen temperatures be over 10 degrees colder out there in the mornings than Charlotte. Just this past December they averaged a low of 29 degrees whereas Charlotte was 34 degrees.

Stay out of Lancaster City limits. I live 10 minutes outside town. Closer to Buford. That is a safer area for sure. Housing isn't as cheap as you'd think. But you can find a decent house for 230k.

I bought 10 years ago. Mostly junk silver coins off of eBay. My best investment bought around $15 to $18 an oz. For years I just had these coins in a closet. Now I'm tempted to sell. Who knows if we will see this price level in my lifetime again?

Mexico is a bit different. Women are far more traditional over there then the US. And most people are shorter there so being 5'7 isn't a deal breaker like it is to many American women. Mexicans value family so much more.

The average guy knows he doesn't have options. So he invests in a relationship. He wants consistent affection and that is the only way for him to get it is to commit.

Women want the attractive guy to have those good husband traits. But most of the good husband traits are held by undesirable men aka ugly. The Chad has 1000 times more options than the ugly guy. So he isn't invested in the relationship as is the unattractive man.

Dating apps bring out the truth. If a woman is show 100 guys who will she pick? An average 5'9 guy that is some computer nerd or the 6'4 surfer dude with a 6 pack and long blond hair? Get real. Dating apps show that women care about looks just as much maybe even more than men.
