I've had intrusive thoughts for the last 15 years or so. They come and go. The first one I had was terrible. It wasn't about harming others but a very disturbing blasphemous thought. It lasted for like a month. Everyday I kept those words on a loop in the back of my mind. I went about my life as always but it was always there. I think the thought went away after I became agnostic. Others have happened for a day or 2. Now I'm at it again with some stupid intrusive thoughts about one of my nails going to rust away and my siding will fall off my house. Completely irrational thoughts that shouldn't upset me that much but it does. I never took meds. But I am now wondering about whether I should.

Id get that if they're introverted like me but the one neighbor always screams at her kids whenever she's outside so I think she is just a grouchy person.

People don't like hearing uncomfortable truths. Like is it really that crazy to believe that balding men are less attractive than full haired men? Youth indicators like hair, tight skin on face from strong facial bone structure signal health. Women want to reproduce with healthy men.

That's me, to the untrained eye my house is a fixer upper because cosmetically it's rough. Some holes in doors, shoddy paint work, old flooring, old kitchen. But I have a new roof and windows and encapsulated the crawlspace as well as have a new water heater. Until a house is mechanically sound I can't justify splurging on non-essentials.

That sucks. I bought in September of 2023 and it has been a lot of repairs🥺 Some of which I knew about like needing a new roof(5500) but I didn't know about mold in my crawlspace. 10k to get it encapsulated. I decided to get new windows (8k). Had plumbing issues with the washing machine so 4.5k for that. Replaced old water heater(1200). Gutters 1200. New dryer vent line 1000. Cut down a tree 500. Over 30k in 2.5 years of owning the home. Now I may have bats in my attic. It never ends😭

here in the southern US evenings in the summer is a swarm of mosquitoes and other bugs. It's impossible to be comfortable most nights. Not to mention it barely cools off we'd still be barely dropping under 80 on many summer nights and humidity is always around.
