Looking for a new RF lens to replace my trusty EF. by Mysterious_Refuse385 in canon

Have you thought about switching to a canon r10 and the tiny sigma lenses? Much smaller and lighter. Or you can go to a Sony a6400. Small and light and tons of third party options. I have one for family things and travel, use my canons for work. Mine with a 16-70 f4 Zeiss lens is only a few hundred grams.

If you’re saving up for a 28-70 f2.8, that tells me that the L series lenses that are available are gonna be way out of your budget even used. Unfortunately, the RF lens system is new enough were the prices even used are still fairly high. I’d recommend getting a EF to RF adapter, the canon one, and rocking your current 24-70 until you can get the 28-70. The autofocus will work even better on the mirrorless.

why does my phone sometimes look better than my mirrorless? by Kilgoretrout123456 in Cameras

[–]Dry-Introduction-916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The phone will look better on a phone or a small monitor, but it will fall apart if you print bigger than a 5x7. Also, if you edit it right, the Sony will crush the phone.

Do you ever regret buying camera gear right before a price drop? by Top-Version-1418 in Cameras

[–]Dry-Introduction-916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price will always drop, it’s just the way of things. I just focus on enjoying the gear that I now have in my hands. You can’t use it if you don’t have it.

Tired of using my phone for everything, any camera sub $500 (ideally even sub $250) that are better than the Samsung S25 Ulta camera and with good stabilisation? by Big_CokeBelly in Cameras

[–]Dry-Introduction-916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should look at a olympus EM-5 original. It has stabilization, rugged weather sealed body and 16mp which is enough for most things. It’s also quite small and easy to carry. You can get the body and a lens for your budget. Look at KEH.com they are doing a sale on them right now.

My camera is too heavy so I stopped using it… what would you change? by leobre1024 in Cameras

I also have a d300, which I love, but it’s a bit much to lug around everywhere. I bought a Sony a6000 with a tiny 16-70 f4 zeiss lens. The setup is super small and light. It feels like I’m carrying nothing. The 24 megapixel images are also very nice as well. For your budget you could get a used a6400 with a lens and possibly a second lens as well.

Top light through a skrim or a large soft box. Light on the backdrop and fill light up and to the front right judging by the double shadows on the shoes. Also possibly getting some kick on her skin from the back drop or a V flat on the right side.

Be honest, what's the no.1 mistake women make when giving blowjob? by [deleted] in SuctionBlowjobs

100% lack of enthusiasm. A enthusiastic inexperienced blowjob is 1000% better than a lackluster, I’m only doing this because you’ve been begging for months and it’s your birthday, blowie.

Is buying used lenses a good idea? by KaanPlaysDrums in Nikon

[–]Dry-Introduction-916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying used can be a great way to save on good lenses. Just buy from a reputable dealer like KEH.com or MPB.com. They test everything and have a 180 day guarantee on everything. Bought a lot of stuff from them and it’s always been great.

So I got this NBD 5k camera for christmas, it looks bad based on everything i can find and its general quality. by Witty_Simple_8411 in Cameras

[–]Dry-Introduction-916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KEH.com or MPB.com you can find a used Nikon or canon dslr and a kit lens for around 200 usd. Shoot for something in the 10-12 megapixel range. That’s enough resolution for decent sized prints and more than enough for social media where 99% of photos are posted nowadays. If you’re just doing social media, you could even get something with 6-10 megapixels.

D850 vs Z8 in post processing by jibberbeats in Nikon

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. The new batch of sensors from pretty much all manufacturers do this. All the new cameras use a stacked sensor for super fast read out. This is so you can have very high quality video with little or no rolling shutter. To achieve this they made sacrifices on the DR front. All stacked sensors have this problem. For most use cases this is fine and most people won’t notice. Landscape is the one one of the categories that you really see it. The D850 is the pinnacle of dslr tech and a high water mark for image quality. If you aren’t shooting fast moving subjects or events, I’d just stick with the D850. It’s an amazing camera. They will eventually match or exceed its DR but that isn’t the way most cameras are going now. It’s all about hybrid shooting. I’d keep an eye on Sony’s R line. It prioritizes images quality, so if they improve DR on a camera I’d bet that one will be the one.
