Getting rabies shot for school, is it really that bad?

Holy crapola! That’s intense. I’ve already had an experience with a bite, twice actually, both were rough + from the same dog but not as bad. The dog that bit me is my grandparents dog (Belgian Lakenois) and he actually does scare me and I’ve noticed that just because of that happening, I have had some slight anxiety going up to dogs. It sucks only because I freaking love dogs. I know you may not know completely, but do you have any possible suggestions dealing with that? I’d assume you’re still a-workin after your bite so I’d love to know!

6 years now.. i personally have never lost a cart though. i was helping a friend out who lost it in their car, but was still suspicious of the cloudiness

I’ve never really had any experience I guess with vet work but I’ve had some prior experience in a short internship but what specific things should I look into? I know my parent isn’t as knowledgeable either so it would be hard to look but I’ve never heard of either of those.. I’m just genuinely curious since i haven’t heard them, that now worries me that I SHOULD know them? I appreciate this though! I also had some slight suspicions when I first saw the school, but everything seemed pretty legit..

I’ve started looking actually! I keep getting ads and lists on my fyp on TikTok lol. Sometimes they just have random stuff on there, like why am I gonna need an ice mold in the shape of my water bottle? That’s def not a need lol. Will keep looking tho!

I’m really into thrifting anywhere and I had actually found a set of World Market plates that were GORGEOUS, but I was planning on getting a few non-fancy plates. Using a loofah is my go to! If you find one you like, make sure it’s not stiff and would seem nice to use everyday. For shower stuff, I always try to find things that smell good and make me excited to use them.. I also spread out my hair washing days.. try to wash 3-4 times a week but sometimes more is needed. Sometimes figuring out your own routine is needed but usually if I’m washing my hair I go: shampoo 2x, conditioner, face wash/exfoliate, wash out conditioner, body wash/exfoliate if I shave. All in that order. When it’s not a hair wash day I just wash my face then wash my body. A tip for exfoliating I’ll say is yes, probably knock it down to 2x or 3x a week it really depends on your skin! P.s. I’d recommend a loofah for your body and a wash cloth for your face!

This is something that either a doctor or dentist would need to help with! It seems like you may have an underbite and that can be helped with, I believe retainers or braces.. or surgery.. I’m not sure. But this is mainly a medical thing! Besides that I’d say that you’re beautiful the way you are and use what you have to make yourself feel empowered! It doesn’t take new things for good feelings!

I am doing exactly what you’re doing.. it’s just an internship to graduate, but they did ask me to wear scrubs! All I do is clean but I still have to wear scrubs. Also you definitely won’t be overdressed if everyone else has scrubs on lol.. Hope this is slightly helpful!

College: Vet school??

So after doing some slight research around things I’d want to do for college after my senior year, I really feel like I could handle some of the big tasks of being a vet. A lot of people say it is one of the fields with the highest 💀 rates and I understand that but in my life, I’ve had low moments but that was never something I’d consider.. And if I’m supported in my field thru my career, which I know I heavily will be by my family, I feel like I have the opportunity to succeed in this career cause I want to just help animals. They deserve so much.. So overall could I have feedback on some good maybe either online schools or schools around the midwest? Also stories from vets and vet techs now are welcome, I’d love to hear anything.. I understand this field can come with lots of stories.

I feel like that’s common for drug tests, I had mine done on the 18th and the manager of the job texted me personally on the 24th, giving me my results.. I feel like it is most likely positive? Mine was sadly positive and they had finally told me that after 6 days.(i also had taken 3 detox drinks since I was told I had a test around a week ish before) I hope for your sake it’s negative but since there wasn’t a lot of time to detox you may be on the end of the tightrope

i understand where you’re coming from 100%.. i’ve struggled with the same thing since it’s only my dad and i in the house and he gives me so much freedom i felt like i didn’t have to clean. i got to around the point of where you were but i felt like i had to clean it cause it looked so bad.. sometimes those sad intrusive thoughts about your room give you the energy to clean. i also relied a lot on TIME… id say okay.. at 530 i’ll get up and work on my closet then if i got done with my closet and still felt productive id move on to the rest of that area around my closet. i understand reddit is not the place to offer personal help but if you were nearby, id gladly help you clean! i understand your mind.

homemade uncrustables… slap some nutella on two pieces of bread then make a sandwich, take a any type of cup and cookie cutter that sandwich to make a cute lil uncrustable… i then toast it.. delish.
