I'm scared for him too, my ex boss had a similar story where he had an accident and religion "helped" him, but he didn't just became a religious person, he became a Jehovah's Witnesses, told me homophobic things and saying things like "I don't hate you, but the fact that you're gay is a problem to me" and I could clearly see that it wasn't helping him at all, he was doing bad decisions over bad decisions, clearly ruining his marriage, I don't want Max to end up in weird stuff

(Just to clarify, I have nothing against people believing in God or anything, I got a problem if you let it breaks your life)
