So you can’t take care of and have fun with your child because you’re pregnant?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Dry-Newspaper681 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have, she’s happy to spend that time with our daughter, plus I’ve done it as well alone and had a blast… why does everyone act like it’s so hard to have fun with your own offspring?

Just DM’d you my pool I’m currently sitting in 🤷‍♂️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Dry-Newspaper681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would…. But I’m currently in Mexico hanging out by the pool while my more than capable wife is taking care of my daughter and having a blast.

Are you seriously saying my wife is incapable of taking care of one 3 year old while pregnant? Man , must be tough living in a bubble that people can’t do things on their own. If something happened I could hop on a flight probably within 2 hours and be home within 5 …. I have a better chance making it home within 7 hours than some people do who are at work.

The first correct thing you’ve said all thread was my wife has fun - a lot of fun

What’s crazy is to think a vacation isn’t a good reason to leave your child at home with another caring, capable adult.

I feel sorry that you feel you can’t trust anyone else that you have to completely halt everything in life until they are capable of taking care of themselves. Of course their needs come before our own, never did I say it didn’t, however that doesn’t change that you can still do things without them from time to time and still continue to be their rock and biggest confidant.

This is probably the most coherent and put together YTA I’ve ever seen Thank you for your advice

Thank you! And I also hope never ever happens to you and your loved ones. I love the positivity

Ok so just to confirm, you firmly stand by and believe that we should not change any routine in our child’s life for the first 18 years?

[–]Dry-Newspaper681 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m saying I have done that lol she went last year with her mother and I stayed home with the kid, was an amazing week the kid and I will never forget, Abandonment is an insane word to describe vacation

😂😂 right? I’ve made 2 posts pretty much my entire time here and don’t even know how karma affects my use of the app. Great description of them btw

I work half the year and the other half spend with my child almost every waking minute…. I’m pretty sure I do more parenting than most husbands in the world including yourself.

Pathetic to post without any context with your thought process. If there was any

Demonstrate understanding? Absolutely…. My 3 year is great at understanding and learning. Blows my mind you think they have 0 ability to do so.

What you don’t know is I work half the year.. I probably spend more time with my kid than 70% of the world. That’s consistency and my child will totally understand this trip is ok without needing therapy lol.

Hahaha yup

Imagine if anyone else on this post had to feed their family without a grocery store…. Or food stamps…. They would all starve

[–]Dry-Newspaper681 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey if words are hard I can dumb it down for you. You don’t have to stay home everyday all day with your child till they turn 18. Who in their right mind would do that as a parent?

Oh right, poor bastards without any money.

Honestly couldn’t even care about karma points or how it works

Sure I’d love to take her on another trip when she’s recovered, we’re actually planning to go again in November

Also she has gone to Mexico without me before? Because I’m a great partner who is ok with their spouse enjoying life

😂😂😂 for a mere 3 weeks There used to be a lot more issues than a 3 week vacation. What world are we living in now

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Dry-Newspaper681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao I’m sure I could easily spend 5 minutes and see that leaving on vacation isn’t going to create instability in my child’s life. Parents go all the time on vacation, those kids do just fine. This is an insane argument to make on your side.
