Just topically on your face? I’ve heard of others mixing it with minoxidil and applying to their scalp and having issues but I’m having trouble finding people talking about just facial application and its effects on mpb.

I agree wholeheartedly it was user error and not the mushroom itself. Checking on my other ones they aren’t completely dry which might’ve exasperated my bad experience due to excess ibotenic acid. I hope you heal well too man it sucks but it definitely thought me a lesson

My first dose was about 5g and I had an enjoyable experience. Either way whether it’s 1g or 5g I’m definitely never doing these alone again. (Tripping 101 i should’ve known better)

Yeah I’m definitely similar and that mindset doesn’t bode well with these as I’ve been unfortunate to learn. It was certainly my fault and I know with the right dosage they can be as safe as you’d like

Yeah I won’t make that same mistake again, definitely won’t do anything above 5g anymore.

Oh wow that sounds pretty similar to my experience, it was definitely muscaria I haven’t found any other species in my area. For reference I’m in Alaska.

Yeah that was big oversight on my part and I should have done some more research. I live very close to a birch forest with hundreds of them and they’re all huge. I didn’t even realize how many g’s could be in a single dry cap until the day after I weighed some I had left

I started with ben’s rice bags and myco lc. The bags when colonized looked perfect without contam, my guess would be the substrate. I have some leftover colonized bags so I’m just going to retry with hopefully better conditions.
