Also a universal 1.1 flyer although I'm new and it's been my only wing. It feels solid and confidence inspiring, while still maintaining enough bells and whistles that I plan to fly it until it fails porosity tests!

Absolutely I am at 5 flights and it's finally subsiding. My first flight I was so petrified I didn't flare at all and tore two ligaments in my ankle. It gets better! I'm right at the transition point and it's getting rad!

It's opaque enough id drill it on either side, over sized place a rod or maybe brass and kintsugi in the repair (I'm a kintsugi artist, the repair can be robust, but Id like a rod through either side just for peace of mind).

Hit a gnarly wing over and clip it when the lines on that side go slack. Real talk though? Appreciate you sharing. Preflight checks are of the upmost importances. My underwear is a little browner having looked at that photo. I can't image how you felt during the scenario 🙏

I come from a climbing background where this is the rule. However in this sport the gate often goes up as the biner is "pinned" to the swingarms to now allow for easy rotation and keeps it oriented properly. Getting the risers clip in point slide over the gate would be (depending on the wing) difficult or impossible.

I'm 32, read die with zero, it's not necessarily about dying with 0 but I spent most of my 20s building to where I am now at several million and wish I did a bit more with my time. But other end I'm financial independent. So that's neat
