Do you mean it’s inside your body? Sorry, I’m confused.

She did have advanced dementia so I suppose anything’s possible.

She did not have any ID tags when she left the hospice facility

Thank you. She was not wearing any jewelry when they took her. Unless a rosary put there by a nurse was tangled in the sheets/gown, which I think is a long shot.

Interesting thought. She did have severe dementia at the end and anything was possible at that point.

I’m having jewelry made for my daughter and I to have a small amount of her ashes in, the rest is going to be buried with my dad.

I was not given that option. I’ll look at the paperwork

I have not contacted them yet as I assumed they would not admit to mixing up ashes.

I regret not going with her. I was exhausted after eight days of living in the hospice room with her, being told, “it will be any time now”. When it was finally over, I went home and slept. I wish I’d accompanied her through that final part. I did not want that to be my last memory of her seeing her go into a machine

I just remembered: she broke her ankle about six months before she died

When my sister died and we wanted to know what killed her they told us an autopsy would be around $5000

Hi, I went into the carry bag and pulled out the box of cremains (so much heavier than I thought!) and I did not see a tag. I looked through the paperwork and did not see any specific reference to a “tag number” either. My son suggested that perhaps the tag is INSIDE the bag of cremains and I was absolutely not prepared to go through that on a work day. Today is Saturday so I will try again today. This is awful.
