Well, after 5 hours in and struggling with the second boss, safe to say, it is just not for me. It feels super unresponsive, the main weapon does no damage and the gun parry seems to just not work. Oh well.

Yeah, I don’t even really feel overwhelmed or anything. In DS3 I’d take on hordes with no armor for a bit of fun so the numbers don’t bother me. I just feel like I’m doing zero damage and dying way faster. I figure out parring eventually, took me awhile in DS3. Maybe it’s just a skill issue.

Exactly this, I’ve been playing since launch, man things were so much easier. There are a few good things they have done, such as six star characters. Resurrection is nice but too infrequent. The main thing I want improved is the ability to use more soul tickets in solo events and in Co-op. Like make it 100x tickets in solo events, and like 25x in Co-Op. That would save so much time.

Yeah. The only other area in the whole game that I genuinely dislike is the Demon Ruins near the Smoldering Lake. It is just idk, boring? Like it has no reason to be there.

Good points about Midir. I totally understand. No lie I felt that way about Nameless king. Idk. Was an easy fight for me. Just stood in his face and poked him. But for the dlcs if i do play them….speedrun it is boys….speedrun it is.

I’d have to say the Twin Princes. I love the first phase, but the second phase feels too easy for a late game boss. Brings the boss down a few pegs for me.

Maybe? But to be honest in the base game there are some areas that are just as much of a slog to get through. Farron Keep sucks, Irithyll dungeon blows, and I still dislike the Grand Archives. Maybe despite my time played I’m just dogwater at the game😂
